  • Heeresfliegerkommando — Army Aviation. Three regiments: Tiger UHT attack helicopters, NH-90 TTH lift, CH-53K heavy lift.
  • Heeresunterstützungskommando — Strategic engineer, signal, military intelligence, and logistics brigades.

The 11 active divisions

Per the empire's standing white-paper deployment matrix:

Type Count Divisions
Panzerdivision (armored) 2 1. PzDiv 'Vatersmark', 2. PzDiv 'Eisengau'
Infanteriedivision (mechanized infantry) 4 3. ID 'Königswasser', 4. ID 'Südland', 5. ID 'Nordmark', 6. ID 'Ostmark'
Gebirgsdivision (mountain) 2 1. GebDiv 'Alpenjäger', 2. GebDiv 'Hochland'
Luftsturmdivision (air-assault) 3 1. LSDiv 'Adler', 2. LSDiv 'Sturm', 3. LSDiv 'Falke'
Garde-Panzerdivision (Royal Guards) 1 Garde-PzDiv (capital defense; not counted in the 11 white-paper line divisions)

A Panzerdivision fields approximately 15,500 personnel, three brigades (typically 2 Panzerbrigaden + 1 Panzergrenadierbrigade), a Divisionsartilleriebrigade (PzH 2000 + MARS II), and a Divisionsunterstützungsbrigade (Versorgung / Fernmeldung / Sanität). Infanteriedivisionen field three Panzergrenadierbrigaden plus DIVARTY and DSB at ~16,000 personnel. Gebirgsdivisionen are smaller (~12,000) with three Gebirgsjägerbrigaden and a light artillery brigade. Luftsturmdivisionen field three Luftsturmbrigaden plus an integral Luftsturmfliegerbrigade (NH-90, Tiger, CH-53K) — closer to 14,000 personnel.

Luftsturmregiment 8 — the signature elite

Luftsturmregiment 8 'Falke' (LSR-8) is the Heer's apex special-operations / direct-action air-assault unit and the empire's only Tier-1 black-program formation. Administratively assigned to the Luftsturmkorps; operationally controlled by KSK in wartime.

  • Approximately 465 operators in three Kommando-Schwadronen plus a tactical aviation troop (MH-47, MH-60M equivalents)
  • Selection model paralleling 22 SAS, KSK (modern Germany), and FSA TF Rage — 18-month assessment + cadre course
  • Specializes in deep-strike vertical envelopment, hostage rescue, strategic-target action, and direct-action coalition support
  • Has conducted limited direct-action operations in the Rakutanian theater under KSK control (Continuation War)

OFBN role

  • 1. Panzerdivision 'Vatersmark' rotationally to the Rakutanian theater (one PzGren brigade forward at any time)
  • One LSR-8 troop forward at Vatersbürg-East under KSK control for direct-action support of WDP operations
  • The remainder of Heer assets are held at home or in the Westliches Oberkommando posture against Thumbria
