Federated States Armed Forces

The unified military of the Federated States of Arcadia, organized under the Department of Defense and reporting to the Secretary of Defense and the President.

Unified Combatant Commands

The FS Armed Forces operate through six geographic and four functional combatant commands. Service branches provide forces; the COCOMs employ them. Geographic AORs are organized around Europa's continents and oceans.

Functional commands

  • FS Special Operations Command (FSSOCOM) — All-service SOF.
  • FS Strategic Command (FSSTRATCOM) — Strategic deterrence (nuclear), space, cyber.
  • FS Transportation Command (FSTRANSCOM) — Strategic mobility.
  • FS Cyber Command (FSCYBERCOM) — Defensive and offensive cyber.

Service Special Operations

Each service contributes to FSSOCOM:

  • Army: Federation Army Special Operations Command (FASOC) — Special Forces Groups, 77th Ranger Regiment, 180th SOAR, TF Rage (tier-1 Special Purpose Force), FSFSG
  • Navy: Naval Special Warfare Command (NAVSPECWARCOM) — SEAL Teams, DEVGRU
  • Marines: Federation Marine Forces Special Operations Command (FMARSOC) — Raiders
  • Air Force: Federation Air Force Special Operations Command (FAFSOC) — Special Tactics, AC-130, MC-130
