Federation Air Force

Service chief: Chief of Staff of the Federation Air Force Active strength: ~300,000 Reserve: ~200,000 Doctrine: Air dominance via 5th-gen + BVR + stealth; conventional strategic strike

The Federation Air Force (FSAF) is the largest air force on Europa, fielding the most-advanced 5th-generation fighter fleet on the planet with a doctrinal focus on beyond-visual-range (BVR) engagement and stealth. It provides air superiority, strategic strike, global mobility, and special-operations aviation across all theaters.

The FSAF's strategic-strike mission is conventional only — there are no nuclear weapons in Federation service. Under the Outer Space Demilitarization Protocols, WMDs are space-based kinetic systems (Protocols-banned), and nuclear technology is restricted to power generation. Federation Global Strike Command (FAGSC) accordingly operates the B-21 Raider stealth bomber fleet and conventional long-range cruise / ballistic missiles in the strategic-strike role.
